Luke came over to play a couple of mornings last week while Kristen was out of town. She said he didn't even mind her leaving, since he knew he got to come play at "Wee-why's house." When I told Levi that Luke was coming over, he yelled "Doot, yay!" They really like each other. Their names are just a bit tricky to say at this age.
They are 9 months apart; when Levi was a baby, Luke couldn't wait for him to grow up so they could play together. He just knew they were meant to be friends.

Now that they're both talking (sort of), they can even have little conversations with each other. They really crack each other up.

Cousins make the best kind of friends!
I got to babysit that sweet baby Luke this morning while Kristen went to the dentist. And what better way is there to enjoy a baby than to set up a little photo shoot and capture the cuteness? None that I can think of.

One great thing about that zoo is that all the exhibits are nice and close together, so it requires a lot less walking than other zoos we know. In case you're wondering, the San Diego Zoo is not made for kids.
We knew Brennan would love the zoo! He spent very little time in the stroller this time and had to get picked up to see all the animals better. His favorites were probably the elephants and tiger. He could have watched them all day.

After getting the big kids off to school, I took Dallin, Eric and Brennan down to the hospital to meet him. Seeing Luke's bare legs, Eric told Kristen he wants to take him home and put clothes on him.
The boys were ready to go after just 5 minutes, but I didn't want to leave. This is the first time I've been able to visit one of my sisters in the hospital with their new baby, and I could hold that sweet little baby all day.
