We were so busy the weekend after we got back from Utah that I didn't know how we'd fit in decorating for Christmas. I like to do it right after Thanksgiving. But Dave put up the tree one night after a hockey game; he put up the outside lights Saturday morning at 7:00; and the boys and I set up our nativity sets and other living room decorations while Dave was at an all-day scout meeting. The church Christmas party was that night, so we decorated the tree Sunday morning before church. Whew!

Levi LOVED putting the ornaments on this year. And he's actually left them alone ever since. Mostly.

Those are sweet pictures. Do you guys do a real tree? It looks like it. They look and smell great, but putting lights on is a job and a half.
No, we do fake now. I miss the smell, but I don't miss the dry, pokey, messy needles.
We have a fake tree, too, but I hang a fresh pine swag inside our back door for the smell. It's just a faint whiff, so either I need a bunch more swags or pine scented candles/glade plug-ins.
