The first combined youth activity this summer was called Festival of Colors. They did it a few years ago, and it was such a big hit that now they do it every year. Dave, Spencer and Tyler were involved with it this year, and the little kids and I went too.
We played in the sand until the color-throwing began.
Everyone wears white shirts and throws colored powder at each other.
My niece Alison was visiting from Utah. She thought it was a pretty cool activity!
They let the little kids join in. They were thrilled!
The whole group - what a great bunch of kids!!
Afterwards they roasted s'mores. It was a fun beach activity!
