Field Trip

Brennan and I met Tyler at the zoo today for his field trip.

It's a really small zoo, but that makes it nice in a way. Kids were kinda wandering all over without us stressing about losing someone. Here's most of the kids in his class. And yes, Tyler is the shortest one there.
At one point his class met with a zookeeper, who showed us this great horned owl and told us all about it. He asked the kids if owls are awake during the day or night, and Tyler impressed him when he answered that they are nocturnal. Afterwards we had a picnic lunch at the park. It was a fun, relaxing field trip. But somehow it wore us out, and Brennan and I came home and slept all afternoon.
